Launching and logging in to the SilverStripe CMS
To access the SilverStripe CMS, you will need a username and password. If you don't have login details, contact the person or organisation who created your website.
- Open your web browser. We recommend using the latest version of your browser (Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3) for the best experience.
- Type in your website address, followed by "/admin", e.g., http://www.yoursite.com/admin.
- Hit Enter or click Go on your browser. This takes you to the Login page.
- Enter your email address and password, then click the Log in button. This takes you to the CMS main screen.
- If you select Remember me next time?, the login fields will prepopulate the next time you log into the CMS. Only use this option on a computer where you alone have access.
- If you can't remember your password, click on I've lost my password. You'll be asked to enter your email address and will receive an email with a link that allows you to reset your password.
