Removing a user
Removing a user may become a necessity if a person no longer requires access, for instance, if they no longer work for the company.
- Click on the Security icon
to display the Security window - Locate and click on the appropriate security group in the Security Groups pane
This is the security group to which the user belongs. The details of the group and its members will be displayed in the “Users in this Group” pane… - Locate the user that you want to remove (for more information, refer to Locating a Member)
Notice the large red cross
adjacent to each user…
- Click on the red cross
adjacent to the use that you want to remove
A message box will ask you to confirm your actions…
- Click on
to remove the user
The member will no longer appear in the security group list…
